Dess Code

The official school tie must be worn by senior male students (Grades 7 to 12), at all times.

The official school tie must be worn by senior female students (Grades 7 to 12) during Term 2 and Term 3.

Dresses and skirts may not be shorter than a four finger width above the knees.

No earrings, jewelry, accessories, coloured contact lenses or visible tattoos are allowed.

No colouring of hair or wearing of exotic hairstyles are allowed.

No makeup is allowed.

Fingernails must be kept trimmed short and clean at all times.

Female students with long hair must ensure that it is tied up at all times.

Male students’ hair must be cut short where it does not touch the collar of the shirt, the ears or hangs over the eyebrows.

No facial hair is permitted and students must be cleanly shaven at all times.

Black knitted gloves, a plain black scarf and a Roxer Academy beanie may be worn during Term 2 and Term 3.

During events that allow the wearing of casual wear, learners should wear neat, presentable clothes. Beachwear, tight-fitting clothes, clothes that are see-through and/or too revealing are not allowed.

Hair, shoes and accessories should be neat at all times.

Only learners that have applied and/or submitted relevant supporting documents and received the necessary permission from the School Board of Directors, may deviate from official school uniform for religious, cultural or medical reasons.
